Compact suits a focused single-screen setup. Large adds 25 cm of width and 5 cm of depth for a monitor arm, speakers, notebooks, or a broader multi-device workspace.

Mark the desktop footprint, allow room for chair movement, and check walls, shelves, and nearby furniture at standing height. Leave enough cable slack for the full 66–120 cm height range.

Tracked deliveryEach desk is built to order. Delivery to US addresses typically takes 4–6 weeks from order to arrival. Tracking is emailed within 24–48 hours of dispatch, and multi-box shipments may arrive separately.

Delivery costStandard delivery is free to the contiguous 48 US states and Washington, DC, including rural and remote ZIP codes. Alaska, Hawaii and other supported special destinations have a US$19.99–US$99.99 delivery charge based on combined order weight, shown at checkout. Deskmith covers any delivery cost above that charge. No additional customs duties or import fees are charged. Any applicable sales tax is shown at checkout.

30-day returnsStandard-size desks may be returned within 30 days of delivery when unused, unassembled, and in their original packaging.

Return addressContact us first for your designated return warehouse address, then use a tracked service and keep the receipt. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the desk arrived damaged or defective.

The 10-year warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use across the complete desk. When a claim is covered, we send the required replacement part at no charge and guide you through the next step.

Covered components: Desktop, frame, lifting columns, motors and electronics, control panel, cables, and included hardware.
Important limits: Misuse, improper assembly, accidental damage, alterations, chemical or moisture damage, prolonged direct sunlight, natural material variation, and normal wear are not covered.

Installation & Care

Plan the full movement path

Place the desk within reach of power and leave enough cable slack for the full 66–120 cm (26–47.2 in) height range. Keep shelves, drawers, wall edges, and nearby furniture clear of the moving desktop.

Test before adding equipment

Assemble the desk on a clean, soft surface and secure every frame connection before turning it upright. Complete one unobstructed lift with the desktop clear, then add equipment and save preferred heights.

Protect the oak surface

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Use a lightly damp cloth for a fresh mark and dry promptly. Keep standing liquid, harsh cleaners, abrasive pads, solvents, direct heat, and prolonged strong sunlight away from the veneer.

FAQ

Do both desktop sizes use the same lifting system?

Yes. Compact and Large use the same dual-motor system, controller, height range, load rating, safety functions, and 10-year warranty. Only the desktop footprint and price change.

Can I order a custom desktop size?

No. Essential One Standing Desk is available only in the two listed standard sizes. Deskmith custom dimensions are reserved for eligible solid-wood desk models.

Is an under-desk drawer included?

No. The Under-Desk Drawer is an optional add-on and is included only when ordered separately.

Will the desk feel completely rigid at standing height?

A small amount of movement at higher settings is normal for a two-leg height-adjustable desk. A level floor, fully tightened frame connections, and a balanced equipment layout help the desk perform as intended.

What if the desk arrives damaged or defective?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos. For verified shipping damage or defects, we will arrange a free replacement or a full refund; you do not need to send the damaged item back.
